Al menos 1.100.000 personas, en su gran mayor\u00eda jud\u00edas, fueron asesinadas durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial en Auschwitz, la mayor f\u00e1brica de la muerte operada por la Alemania nazi entre 1940 y 1945.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Hasta all\u00ed llegaban casi a diario miles de hombres, mujeres y ni\u00f1os, que, en su mayor\u00eda, encontraban la muerte en las c\u00e1maras de gas en un plazo de apenas unas horas desde su llegada en tren. Era el final de un proceso meditado y planificado por el estado y dirigido por la SS, que durante el invierno de 1945 intentar\u00eda desmantelar el campo y eliminar los rastros \u201cvisibles\u201d de sus cr\u00edmenes antes de huir.<\/p>

Con la liberaci\u00f3n de Auschwitz el 27 de enero de 1945, se hallaron nuevas y m\u00faltiples evidencias de las atrocidades cometidas por la Alemania nazi contra jud\u00edos, polacos, roman\u00edes, prisioneros de guerra sovi\u00e9ticos y otras nacionalidades, criminales, testigos de Jehov\u00e1, homosexuales y otros considerados \u201cindeseables\u201d por el r\u00e9gimen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Como parte de este testimonio del horror se encontraron algunas de las miles de fotograf\u00edas tomadas en Auschwitz que atestiguan el proceso del exterminio sistem\u00e1tico, desde la llegada de los deportados hasta su incineraci\u00f3n, pasando el retrato de prisioneros o im\u00e1genes de la vida cotidiana de los oficiales que dirigieron el campo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Un testimonio visual de valor incalculable que, sin duda, ha configurado la imagen colectiva sobre Auschwitz hasta nuestros d\u00edas, pero que, a la vez, nos obliga a preguntarnos: \u00bfSon estas fotograf\u00edas fuentes neutrales o el reflejo de Auschwitz desde una perspectiva concreta? \u00bfRepresentan la inmensidad de la desgarradora realidad de Auschwitz estas aparentes \u201cventanas al pasado\u201d?
